Tomorrow morning we are still planning on conducting the Practice Meet. As stated in the previous email, we do swim in the rain. We swim unless there is thunder and lightening. With this being said, please watch for emails and/or Remind alerts about tomorrow in the event that it is raining.

As you know, we cancelled practices while we were under the tornado watch and there was street flooding. We weren’t sure when the water would recede or what condition the pool would be in. Upon inspection of the pool, it all looks good to go and there in minimal debris.

If you are part of the Set-Up Crew, please be at the pool at 7:00 AM to begin setting up for the meet.

Parents, please arrive by 7:45 am to get your Team Shirt and pictures will start at 8:00 am. After your swimmer has taken their individual picture, please immediately go check-in at the gazebo. Once individual pictures are taken, the group picture will follow. Warm-ups will follow at 9:00 am and the meet should start by 9:30 am. The Concessions Stand will be open and serving yummy food, so come hungry!

If it is raining, the picture people will not be there as they cannot get their equipment wet. Individual pictures will be taken during practice one day and the group picture will take place before one of the home meets. If it is raining, arrive by 8:00 am to pick up your shirt. Once things get settled, Warm-ups will begin and the meet will follow.

In the event the practice meet is cancelled due to thunder and lightening (remember, we still swim if it is just raining), the seed times will be done during regular practices next week. We will most likely need parent help if this happens, but more communication will come follow.
